Our Mission
The mission of the Jefferson County Senior Citizens Program is to enhance the quality of life for seniors and assist them in remaining independent for as long as possible.
We are committed to providing programs and services designed to promote independence, provide a sense of purpose, increase socialization, support lifelong learning, and encourage opportunities and community involvement.
Our program consists of Senior Centers located in Dandridge, Jefferson City, New Market, Strawberry Plains, and White Pine, combined with services offered through the Main Office On Aging. Seniors may join one or all five centers, as desired. Membership is free to all County residents age sixty and over.
Volunteer opportunities are also available.

Senior Center Director
- Pay: $23,990 annually
- Hours: 32 hours a week
- Must be able to use a computer and perform basic office tasks.
- Responsible for overseeing daily operations, coordinating activities, and serving our senior community.
