Notice of Public Hearing: Zoning Resoultion

The Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 in the Jefferson County Courthouse. The purpose of this hearing will be to hear comments from the public on the following proposed resolutions:

  • Resolution 2025-63– Amending the “Zoning Resolution of Jefferson County, Tennessee” to reflect certain prohibited uses in all zoning districts and permitted uses in the I-3 zoning district.
  • Rezoning resolution- A-1 to C-2 property located at Hwy 92 N., Jefferson City by Eddie Roberts (Map 0006 a portion of 0 10. 05)- 9 acres
  • Rezoning Resolution- A-1 to C-2 property located at 3058 Harrison Road, White Pine by Samuel & Katherine King / Scotty Shane Littrell- Approx. 1 acre

Three copies of the proposed resolution will be available at the zoning office during normal business hours for public review.
