6th District County Commissioner
The Jefferson County Commission will fill a vacancy in the Office of County Commissioner for the 6th District of Jefferson County, Tennessee at a regularly scheduled meeting on March 16, 2026, to be held in the Historic Jefferson County Courthouse at 6:30 PM. Anyone interested in filling this vacancy may present a letter of interest to the Clerk prior to the meeting, however, to be considered the nominee must:
1. Be at least 18 years of age.
2. Be a qualified voter of the 6th District.
3. Be nominated by a Jefferson County Commissioner.
4. Be present at the meeting or submit a signed statement of willingness to accept the office prior to appointment.
