Main St. Dandridge, Tennessee, on Monday, June 14th at 6:30 P.M.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all Jefferson County residents, County Commissioners, and all other persons who might be interested that the following dates have been set for the 2021 County Commission Schedule, inclement weather and COVID-19 pending:

January:
Budget Committee Meeting – 11th at 5:30 P.M.
Work Session – 11th at 6:30 P.M.
Voting Session – 19th at 6:30 P.M.

April:
Budget Committee Meeting – 12th at 5:30 P.M.
Work Session – 12th at 6:30 P.M.
Voting Session – 19th at 6:30 P.M.

July:
Budget Committee Meeting – 12th at 5:30 P.M.
Work Session – 12th at 6:30 P.M.
Voting Session – 19th at 6:30 P.M.

October:
Budget Committee Meeting – 12th at 5:30 P.M.
Work Session – 12th at 6:30 P.M.
Voting Session – 18th at 6:30 P.M.

These meetings will be held in the main courtroom of the Jefferson County Historic Court House. Located at 202 W. Main Street Dandridge, TN 37725.

TN Dept of Revenue to Send Postcards for Vehicle Registration Renewals

The Department of Revenue released a statement on Monday, December 21, 2020, announcing that instead of the traditonal letters used, the state will use postcards to remind motor vehicle registrants of upcoming renewal dates.

Careless debris burning is a primary cause of wildfires every year in Tennessee. Debris Burn Permits for leaf and brush piles are now required between Oct. 15 and May 15 and are available online at no charge. Information and debris burn permit can be found at:

Mayor Potts announces “As county mayor, I will not issue an order that requires the use of face coverings in public places. I do strongly encourage all people to consider protecting those people around us. There are ways we can help stop the spread of this virus even without a face covering mandate. We can follow the guidelines already in place. We can take the Governor’s Pledge.”

#TNfights Face It. Masks Fight COVID-19!

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced Thursday, July 23, 2020, the State will launch a public service announcement campaign that urges all Tennesseans to fight against the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a mask. The ad campaign, titled “Face It. Masks Fight COVID-19”, will run on broadcast and cable television, digital, social media, print, and billboards statewide.
